jaime & scott - wedding slideshow

I'm so happy to have Jaime & Scott's slideshow up! There were so many amazing moments from their wedding day and it was so difficult to chose just a handful to post here on the blog. They'd scheduled in a nice chunk of the day after the ceremony for the wedding party to relax and cool down with some ice cream and then some more time on the grounds of a lovely mansion for their own portraits. It's fantastic, the collection of images that come from time well planned. Of course, it helped that J&S had Jess from Devoted to Details on board to keep things moving ahead so they could just enjoy their day.

So...grab a snack or a glass of wine, settle in a bit and click the photo to watch the show...this is a long, but wonderful journey!

jaime & scott

I can't say enough about how much fun we had at Jaime & Scott's wedding at the Columbus Art Museum. I knew it was going to be great: our very first meeting had lasted for four hours....

Jaime = gorgeous.

Oh, the soft fluffy peonies! I loooove them! Janna Coe once again wields her magic. Single gardenias were used for the boutonnieres and corsages.

Scott, the groom. Huge Family Guy fan...we can have a whole conversation simply using FG quotes.
Their minister knew Scott and Jaime both very well, personally and as a couple. He kept cracking them up.

The get-away Rolls! ooh...shiny....

After the ceremony, we followed the wedding party down the street to Graeters for ice cream.

Then off for some private moments on the grounds of the Jeffrey Mansion.

Scott surprised Jaime with a photo booth...it was a huge hit as you can see.
Jess and the ladies of Devoted to Details did a wonderful job keeping everyone on schedule and making sure everything looked as beautiful as J&S planned.
"INCOMING!!!...duck 'n' cover!!!" I could kiss Christa for this shot.

This "Kitty-blubs-like -a-little-girl" moment brought to you by Scott and Jaime's friends...watching Jaime dance with her dad.

I think there were no less than five guys crammed in there. (Another great shot by Christa!)

say "cheeeeeeze!!!"

This was very fun. As they entered the art museum for their reception, Scott surprised Jaime with a photobooth. Jaime was so excited, she was jumping up and down and for a good part of the night, there was a line in front of the curtain. Once things settled down, Christa & I couldn't help ourselves and added our own mugs to the collection, as did Jess and the planning goddesses from Devoted to Details. The most amusing thing was watching 6 big guys trying to cram themselves into a space the size of your average bathroom stall and their subsequent guffawing at the resulting photos. I want one of these things in my livingroom....

The lovely young lady to the right is Christa, the newest edition to my team. AND she's my July 26th bride!the wonderfully silly bride and groom ~

Photobooth by Flashback Photo Booths. By the way, their service was really great, too! The attendants had a nice scrapbook, scissors, adhesive, and pens to attach photos to the book and leave messages for Jaime & Scott. I love the decorative bar between the photos. Lots of guests were able to cut three of the shots off to post in the book and still had three to take home as a momento.

Jaime & Scott

My next wedding of the season is that of Jaime and Scott's. I also did their friends, Shanti and Jason's wedding as my last wedding of 2007...a great way to end the year ~ really fun and happy people. It was so great to know I'd see them all again in a few months at J&S's Art Museum wedding.

A few weeks ago Jaime, Scott, and I went to their favorite movie theatre for their engagement shoot. Much fun was had with the popcorn...which was rendered inedible by the time we were done. They plan on stopping by the ice cream parlor on the way from the ceremony to the reception...I can't wait to see what goes down there! :D

I'm pretty sure we got one shot for each movie genre...
